Arrange chairs facing outward in a circle to equal the number of participants. A second player should be in control of the music. When the music begins, the players begin to circle the seats. When the music stops, players immediately take a seat in the closest chair. The player without a chair is eliminated. The game is then resumed by removing one of the seats. The player who occupies the last chair is declared the winner. Traditionally, this game is played inside, but it may also be played outside with outdoor equipment and a portable music player.
