Overview The 2022 Jaguar F-type is a retro sports vehicle, with a traditionally gorgeous exterior and only V-8 engine choices. Unlike the Chevrolet Corvette or the Porsche 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman, the Jaguar's engine is located in front of, rather than behind, the driver. This results in dramatic dimensions and an entirely new driving experience for the F-type. Another characteristic is the exhilarating sound of its supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine, which produces between 444 and 575 horsepower. While the Jaguar may not have the same short, fast, and forceful stopping, going, and grip as its competitors, both the coupe and convertible will nonetheless stimulate the senses. Unfortunately, its upmarket inside is tight, and drop-top variants have less storage capacity than the coupes, which are already tiny. The 2022 F-type is likewise more expensive than its competitors, but its beauty and old-school charm may be enough to compensate.
