Lee Wilkof Little Shop Of Horrors

Audrey (Blanchard), another employee, is a masochistic sweetheart who is dating a cruel dentist. (Borle, a two-time Tony Award winner, makes antic hay in this and other performances.) She is also the girl of Seymour's dreams, and in her honor, he gives the weird and sickly plant he picked up in Chinatown during a solar eclipse the name Audrey II. Audrey II, it turns out, has a voice, delivered by Kingsley Leggs with a rolling, soulful, delightfully commanding bass that sounds like a cross between Chuck Berry and Barry White. And it need Seymour to give it human blood. As the plant continues to grow, Seymour becomes a celebrity due to his affiliation with this colossal organism. However, retaining renown demands sacrifice, particularly human sacrifice.

Lee Wilkof (born June 25, 1951) is a veteran of the Broadway theater and an American actor. He originated the parts of Samuel Byck in Assassins and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and was subsequently nominated for a Tony Award for the Kiss Me, Kate revival in 2000. He reprised his role as The Wizard in Wicked's San Francisco production, a part he had previously portrayed on the show's First National Tour.

I hadnât watched this film in a long and had forgotten how bizarre and great it was. Levi Stubbs' voice acting in Audrey 2 is without a doubt some of the most outstanding I've ever seen. His voice is incredible, and I could listen to his wicked chuckle for the rest of my life. The three vocalists are undoubtedly the finest portion of the film, apart from Steve Martin's performance as the dentist.
